With a growing team and an exciting mission, we are looking for a highly organised and proactive Front & Back Office Manager to keep our day-to-day operations running smoothly.
About the Role
As our Office Manager, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring our office and logistics functions run seamlessly. You’ll manage deliveries, oversee office administration, coordinate maintenance, and provide occasional back-office support. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats.
Key Responsibilities
- Front Office Management: Oversee office supplies, workspace organisation, and general upkeep to create a productive environment. Serve as the first point of contact for deliveries, visitors, and internal team requests.
- Back Office & Logistics Management: Shipments, deliveries, and inventory tracking to ensure smooth business and R&D operations.
- Building & Facilities Coordination: Handle maintenance contracts, liaise with vendors and landlords, and oversee any necessary office repairs or improvements.
- Administrative Support: Assist with back-office tasks, grant management, HR administration, and vendor management.
- Operational Coordination: Support day-to-day company operations, including event planning, travel arrangements, and internal communications.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
About You
- Previous experience in front office, back office, operations, logistics, or administrative roles within a startup or fast-paced environment for 2+ years.
- Highly organised with exceptional multitasking abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
